Blakemere Village is a recipe of relaxed shopping mixed with a variety of activities and events ideal for a great day out!
With over 30 boutique shops and activities based in and around a beautifully restored Edwardian stable block, offering hundreds of unique items both stylish and ‘on trend’.
From furniture and homeware, gifts, crafts and hobby products, to food, hampers and flowers, beauty and hair salons plus a small garden centre, aquatics and a micro brewery - you’re sure to find something at Blakemere Village. Our huge Antiques Emporium and Peggotty’s Attic date lined Antique Centre are a treasure chest of wonderful items, with over 60 stalls to wander around you are sure to pick up a real bargain or items to treasure forever.
Don’t forget to visit our Falconry Centre with daily Bird of Prey Flying Displays (Easter – Sept) and wonderful aviaries, home to numerous rare and unusual species, which are open daily.
Our indoor children’s Play Barn and free outdoor Adventure Play Park offer hours of fun for children up to 10 years. Plus our crafty kids activities include throwing a pot on a potter’s wheel, painting bisque-ware items, candle dipping and decorating, badge making and more to encourage the creative talents of all ages of children and adults.
And if it all gets too exhausting, visit one of two dining experiences within the centre; The Saddler’s Kitchen offers self service homemade food serving breakfasts, snacks and home baked cakes, open daily from 9am – 5pm, and Umberto's Café Bar which offers fresh local produce in pleasant surroundings, served by friendly staff. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast, snack or lunch and delicious afternoon teas, open 9am – 5.30pm.
Don’t miss our extensive events and entertainment programme including an Easter Egg Frenzie and Hunt, Summer Fair, regular Food & Craft Fairs, Circus Workshops, Table Top Sales and a Scarecrow Trail to name but a few. As well as our festive celebrations starting with our Christmas Extravaganza Evening at the end of November, Christmas Markets, Santa’s Grotto, Breakfast with Santa, magical snowflakes and more!
