Chester Racecourse - The Roodee

Whether entertaining clients, celebrating a special occasion with family or enjoying a day out with friends, a day at Chester races will be an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons! Chester is renowned for being a glamorous venue where style and fashion go hand in hand with the racing action.

Racing begins with the three day May Festival putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally. After May, another 10 days / evenings of racing are on offer throughout the summer. Each fixture has its own unique identity to ensure a wide-ranging appeal.
To compliment the racing season the Racecourse also hosts the Coutts International Polo weekend on 4th and 5th June and the British Masters International Show jumping on 2nd, 3rd and 4th July.

The Polo event is firmly established on the British Polo circuit and is one of the most prestigious social events in the North West and the three day Showjumping spectacular sees top international showjumpers compete at the historic Roodee.
