Eddi Reader
With June Holland
The Scottish superstar – lead singer with Fairground Attraction (vocalist on the worldwide smash "Perfect") enduring solo artist and ambassador for Scottish music and poetry – is back in Nantwich!
Eddi's show at the Civic in 2021 was one of the greatest and best received nights in our festivals history – several members of our team still consider it our best ever show – and she's back now by popular demand with her stellar band and sackful of hit songs including "Patience Of Angels" "Find My Love" and the evergreen "Perfect".
One of the greatest of all UK singers, and a uniquely warm and witty stage presence,
she is a recipient of three Brit awards, and was the performer chosen to sing at the opening of the new Scottish Parliament buildings, at which occasion she was presented to Queen Elizabeth II.
A very special return, and a very special night in store. Book early to avoid disappointment.
June Holland is a singer / songwriter based in mid Cheshire. Her smooth toned, smoky voice and ability to write compelling hooks that linger after one listen have seen her compared to my famed artistes.
However June is a singular talent who transcends lazy comparisons. She is forging her own independent path and "What I Told My Boss" – her song about the day she left her day job to work solely on her music – has seen a breakout success, receiving over 12,000 Spotify streams in its first month of release. She makes her festival debut as support to Eddi Reader.
