Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre

About

Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is a leading theatre producer – and one of the UK’s pre-eminent open air theatre companies, the only one of its kind outside London. The 2014 season includes a new adaptation of the childhood classic The Secret Garden from the nationally acclaimed Jessica Swale -the playwright behind the Globe’s highly successful Blue Stockings. Following 2013's near sell-out production of Othello, the 2014 season opens with Shakespeare’s greatest and most popular tragedy Macbeth, and ends with his most farcical comedy The Comedy of Errors….

In just four seasons Grosvenor Park has gained an unrivalled reputation for excellence, innovation, adventure and fun. It takes place in a uniquely designed and natural space, described by The Guardian as the ‘perfect wooden O’ and featuring both covered and open air seating, picnic terraces and lawn around a classic Shakespearean thrust stage.
