Delamere Forest
Located between Liverpool and Manchester, Delamere Forest is a great base for a family day out. Walk the trails, take on Go Ape, hunt for Gruffalo sculptures, or explore the forest by bike on our traffic-free routes. There's also disc golf and Eddi's Hillfort, our inclusive play area.
Five waymarked shared-use trails and a blue-graded single-track bike trail give you plenty to explore. The eco-friendly visitor centre is home to Delamere Forest Cafe, so there's somewhere to refuel after your visit.
Forestry England membership includes free parking all year round, plus a range of discounts and benefits, and helps support the nation's forests.
