Blakemere is a recipe of relaxed shopping mixed with a variety of activities and events ideal for a great day out!

With over 25 unique shops based in and around a beautifully restored Edwardian stable block, offering hundreds of unusual items made both locally and around the world, you’re sure to find something at Blakemere. Our huge Antiques Emporium is a treasure chest of wonderful items, with over 40 stalls to wander around you are sure to pick up a real bargain.

Don’t forget to visit our Aquatic and Falconry Centre with daily Bird of Prey Flying Displays (Easter – Sept) and wonderful aviaries, home to numerous rare and unusual species, which are open daily.

Our indoor children’s Play Barn and outdoor Adventure Play Park offer hours of fun for children up to 10 years, and our pottery activities including throwing a pot on a potter’s wheel, moulding with clay or painting bisque-ware items encourage the creative talents of all ages. We also offer bead weaving and jewellery making activities for various abilities along with a range of craft activities during school holidays.

Our Supagolf 9 hole course is the game of golf everyone can play! It’s suitable for all ages and abilities and is great fun for all the family.

And if it all gets too exhausting, visit one of two dining experiences now at Blakemere; The Saddler’s Kitchen is open daily from 9am – 5pm serving breakfasts, snacks, home baked cakes and speciality teas and coffees, or The Coach House Bar & Restaurant our NEW lunchtime carvery which also offers a Steak House Grill Menu right through into the evenings. Definitely worth a visit!
