A unique regular midday proclamation in Chester's historic centre, where Bridge Street meets Eastgate Street and Watergate Street which is marked by a stone pillar "The High Cross". The proclamation takes place from Tuesday to Saturday from May to the end of August.

Proclamations take place at 12noon except on days when there are afternoon race meetings when proclamations will take place at 10.30am
