You should have no problems getting around Chester - the city centre is very compact and it is possible to cross the city in 20 minutes.
To explore the city at a more leisurely pace, there are a number of private hire taxi companies; Black Cab ranks are located outside the railway station, bus exchange and a number of private ranks around the city.
