Type: Sporting Event

Family Funday is one of the most popular racing events during the summer months, attracting a huge crowd to the Roodee.

Alongside the afternoon’s racing experience, visitors to the centre of the course will be able to experience the large amounts of free entertainment, including magicians, clowns, gladiators, bouncy castles, music and lots, lots more.

Those racegoers wanting to enjoy the ambience of Chester's famous County Stand and Tattersalls & Paddock Enclosures will find a less crowded environment in which to indulge oneself in the afternoon’s racing action.
