Chester Races is a magnificent social occasion - and one not to me missed! Step out in style onto the Roodee - the oldest racecourse in Britain and admire the well-dressed racegoers; the stunning setting of the course and of course the horses themselves.
Chester really comes to life on race days - and never more so than at the prestigious May Festival.
With thirteen race days throughout the year, everyone should fit a flutter into your visit to Chester. An unforgettable experience whether you enjoy it with friends, your partner or the family.
Choose from one of three enclosures; the sophisticated County Stand, immerse in the party atmosphere of the Tattersalls Stand or just relax in the Dee Stand.
Perhaps you'll prefer to bring a picnic and enjoy it on the Open Course! Excellent food and drink is available in whichever stand you choose; from the Roodee Bar & Grill to the fine dining Turf restaurant.
In August there is a family fun day - and throughout the season there are various events including Ladies night; a Roman Festival and the Dee Festival.
