Chester is accessable by the M53 and M56 motorways and major A roads such as the A55, A41, A51, A56, and A483.
From Manchester: Follow the M56 until junction 15, joining the M53 then exit at junction 12, turning right onto the A56 into Chester.
From Liverpool: Take the Kingsway tunnel and join the M53 at junction 1, then follow the motorway until junction 12, exiting and turning right onto the A56 into Chester.
From Birmingham: Follow the M6 until junction 16, turning left onto the A500. Continue, taking the Nantwich bypass, onto the A51 sign posted for Chester. Follow the A51 into Chester.
From North Wales: Follow the A55 until you meet the A483, turn left into Chester
