Arriving by Coach in Chester

All coach parking is now centralised at the Little Roodee coach/car park located next to Grosvenor Bridge, Chester Castle and the River Dee.

It has fully accessible toilets/baby change, visitor information, waiting area, cafe and drivers rest. There are CCTV security cameras covering the site and the gates are locked from 10.30pm until 6am. Open daily, all year, except when the fun fair takes place there in May.

Coach Parking rates are:-

Up to 3 hours     - £5.50
3-6 hours           - £8.00
Over 6 hours      - £10.00
Arrival after 5pm - £5.00

Large vehicles (up to1.5 tonnes unladen) which exceed the size of a standard size market parking bay must pay double charges. Overnight halt exit by 9am the next day.

There are several designated coach pick up/drop off points throughout Chester city centre. Parking is not allowed in these areas.
