Chester and Cheshire isn’t just for grown-ups! Kids love it too. So if you’re here with the family and you’re worried you’ll hear the dreaded ‘I’m bored!’, don’t despair as there’s loads going on to keep them occupied.

Chester Zoo is always a firm favourite and sure to delight. And dads with a secret yearning to be a train driver will probably love Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway as much as the kids do!

On a sunny day why not enjoy the simple pleasures and hire a boat. Kids love messing about on the water, especially if there’s a chance they can get wet, or better yet, get mum and dad wet too.
When fun turns to hunger you’ll find plenty of places to eat. Or how about a picnic in one of Chester and Cheshire’s lovely parks or historic gardens?
