Food Festivals

Cheshire is famous for many things, spectacular scenery, rich heritage, magnificent gardens, an extensive events programme and of course, not forgetting, mouth-watering food and drink.
Throughout the year the region plays host to several food and drink festivals.  These festivals provide a fantastic showcase of local producers and allow you to tickle your taste buds by sampling many of the produce on offer.

Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival

Now in to its tenth year, the Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival sees more than 120 quality local food and drink producers attend, giving visitors the chance to sample and buy their products.  In the evenings, there is also a Beer Fest.

Congleton Food & Drink Festival

Nibble, slurp, scoff and gulp your way around the Congleton Food and Drink Festival.  Stalls, tasting sessions, cookery demonstrations and more. Many events are FREE.

Nantwich Food & Drink Festival

Featuring tasting sessions, cookery demonstrations and plenty of entertainment, the Nantwich Food and Drink Festival is also free to enter.

Tatton Apple Day

A scrumptious Sunday at the Farm and in the Gardens to celebrate the wonderful apple.
Join in games and children’ s activities. Taste delicious varieties from Tatton's historic orchards and enjoy free 1 hour talks on pruning, training and caring for your own apple trees.  Tatton Apple Day is a great family day out.

Middlewich Beer Festival

Music, dancing, food and most importantly…beer! The Middlewich Beer Festival allows you to sup a wide selection of local and regional ales whilst enjoying live entertainment from local bands and performers.
