• Just 10 minutes away is The Pheasant Inn, a pub in the Peckforton Hills offering spectacular views and fresh local food.

• Heading down the hill towards Nantwich you will find the Yew Tree Inn, which has recently undergone a major refurbishment.

• The Bull is next on your list just a few minutes away in Shocklach. This village pub has had a fabulous makeover and is serving a flavoursome menu sourced from the area.

• Cheerbrook Quality Farm Foods, on the edge of Nantwich, is a 20-minute drive away. An antidote to supermarket shopping, the comprehensive choice on sale here is fresh and local, including meat, vegetables, preserves and delicatessen fare.
